CLENZIderm M.D. Daily Care Foaming Cleanser is a lightweight, foaming acne cleanser with 2% salicylic acid helps unclog pores and wash away dead skin and impurities. Cooling menthol leaves skin feeling refreshed.

To effectively treat acne-prone skin, Obagi recommends using both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide as part of a complete and balanced acne treatment regimen. This has shown to be highly effective, with benzoyl peroxide actively targeting bacteria, while salicylic acid gently exfoliates.
Skin Type: Normal Skin, Oily Skin and Acne Prone Skin.
How To Use: Dispense a small amount of cleanser and massage over your entire face using warm water and rinse thoroughly one to three times daily. Rinse skin thoroughly, pat dry and allow your skin to dry completely before applying other products. Try to avoid unnecessary sun exposure; if going outside, apply a sunscreen.
CAUTION: Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. For external use only.

Benzoyl peroxide (BPO) has been an important component of topical therapy for acne vulgaris due to its ability to markedly reduce Propionibacterium acnes and inflammatory acne lesions and its ability to moderately reduce noninflammatory acne lesions.

How To Use: After cleansing, place a cotton ball or pad over the pump firmly and pump 2 to 3 times to saturate, then cover the entire affected area with a thin layer 1 to 3 times daily and shake product well before use.
